Human Growth Hormone Side Effects

August 26th, 2008 · No Comments

Our week long series on hgh side effects seems to be taking a month. Sorry about that. This is just not a very fun subject to write about. At least not until you realize how stupid the media is.

A friend sent me a number of newspaper articles from different papers around the country. All the articles were supposedly written by Doctors who were columnists for the papers and talked about supplements. They read more like poorly researched 7th grade biology reports. The main theme seemed to be a fear of the dangers of acromegaly. Please….

Acromegaly is related to the presence of an excess of human growth hormone. This excess is generally caused by a malfunctioning pituitary gland. Usually this condition is caused by a tumor growing on the pituitary. One of the most well known examples of acromegaly was the professional wrestler Andre the Giant. A massive man at seven feet tall and 400 pounds. He had the abnormal growth of both bones and organs.

Acromegaly is not a side effect of the normal usage of injectable hgh. It is the result of willful and intentional long term abuse. Mega dosing with hgh and other substances for a prolonged period of time. Totally ignoring the headaches, muscle pain and bone pain that start long before this condition can get established.

Many therapy programs for growth hormone deficient adults use only 2 IU per week. I read forum posts from body builders that talk of injections of 10 IU to 20 IU of hgh every other day. Who knows what else they are shooting up with at the same time. Experiencing the pain and joint swelling is some bizarre badge of honor. Whacked out.

Growth hormone deficient children can experience some pains and joint stiffness. They are smart enough to talk to their doctor who will either cycle them off or reduce the dosage.

I started off about the pseudo journalists who are supposed to be medical professionals.

We were just talking about real pharmaceutical hgh not the pills.

The chances of experiencing acromegaly while taking an hgh supplement are about equal to the chance of discovering that you have a winning lottery ticket while listening to a Presidential candidate telling you the truth at the exact moment a bolt of lightning hits the radio in your hand on a sunny day.

Occasionally a supplement user can experience some joint swelling, muscle pain or headaches. This might not even be the byproduct of taking an hgh product. However, just to be safe, cycle off for a couple of days and then start up again slowly. If the symptoms return, stop using the product. Try something different next time.

I bet most of you were intelligent enough to figure that one out for yourselves.

Well in three posts we have almost covered all the side effects of human growth hormone. Only a handful more to go. Whoops, I just checked and we seem to have half the original list left to cover.

Ok. I will try to finish in one more post but if I get worked up enough it could take two.
