Half of the ingredients are non-essential amino acids; in other words, manufactured by your own body. It's interesting that people would pump products into their bodies that they've been convinced to buy without knowing whether their body is indeed lacking in these specific amino acids. Over-dosing can create toxicity. Strange, a farmer will have his soil tested before using certain fertilizers or chemicals. We treat our bodies with less respect.
Get your blood work done and see if you really lack these amino acids. By the way, the rest are readily available from common foods we eat daily.

Shivers,
How amusing. We used the $25 figure because that is the price that you can pay if you go out and buy the exact same ingredients in the same amounts from a good online supplement seller. The products are from top name manufacturers with reputations for using high quality ingredients. The biggest problem with this approach is that you have to pay for 5 bottles and 5 encapsulation runs. If it all came in one bottle, you would save at least another $5. Strangely that $5 is probably the equivalent of what it would cost to make the product so it could all go in one bottle.

Of course if it all went in one bottle there might be a patent problem.

Here is a business idea for some adventurous soul. Put the BCAA in one supplement and the aminos in another bottle. You now have two products. Total cost of $10 or less. Sell it as the same effect as GHP for less. Your only problem might be the returns because it is just would not be that great a product.

I suffer from severe insomnia. I began taking GHP for the claims of sleep. I think they call it "the soma-coma." I've been taking it for a little over three months and couldn't be happier. I sleep well, I'm not sore after my workouts, my hair is growing fast and is more full and healthy than ever, and I am in a much better mood than I can remember in a long time.
Here's a question: would most male atheletes buy a product with "youth" on the lable? I don't think so. I call it smart marketing. Duh, buy the less expensive formula if the name doesn't matter to you.
And comprabale product for under $25? The quality of materials and ingredients make a big difference. I don't want crappy complexes in crappy capsules. Give me the good high quality stuff.

What a scam. First of they try to market the GHP sport as somehow special and charge a higher price than the youth formula. They have EXACTLY the same ingredients! Ha! What does that tell you about their ethics so far? And why is it that you have to become a member to buy it or buy it from a member? The most important thing, it works no better than an amino stack that you can buy at any supplement store at a MUCH lower price. Anyone who sells this stuff is either a moron or just out for the money convincing people this "will change your life". Because as we all know pills quite often change lives...yeah.

I agree that the MLM thing put me off completely. I see nothing in the product that makes it special. USP Labs has a supplement called powerFULL that claims similar results, costs less, and isn`t pushed by some marketing flimflam. I have used it, and will attest that I did in fact notice significant effects practically immediately. I considered GHp Sport very briefly, but will not be using it any time soon.

Stephen,

Yes, this is a pretty mediocre product at a premium price. While not technically a Ponzi style pyramid scheme, it is a multi tiered network marketing program.

Seldom do these programs have quality products at a good price along with a plan where everybody makes good money. Usually the products are over priced, over hyped and most people don't make anything.

Yeah, the pyramid scheme...er marketing structure has me very disinterested as well.

Shouldn't such an amazing product be able to sell itself without hordes of salesmen knocking on doors, calling during dinner, and spamming nutrition sites?

I have a relative that wants me to come sell this with him...after reading here and on several other sites, it seems that this is an average to below-average product that I'd be forced to preach about like the second coming to earn my wages.

Oh, and on the MLB players issue...those are guys who velcro gloves 4 times for luck, wear unwashed socks from the Texas highschool title game, etc... If there is an independant research group that has done a study showing Somalife gHP to be effective, please provide it and I'll reconsider. But if the best proof is - try it and you'll see or my grandma said it works...I've better things to do with my time.
