Isotropin HGH-R An HGH Supplement Review

June 23rd, 2008 · 19 Comments

For your reading pleasure we have a review of Isotropin HGH-R from Newton-Everett.  This is an hgh product in capsule form, so once again we are hoping for something decent.

Ingredients:

Arginine (L-arginine hcl) 400 mg
Ornithine (L-ornithine hcl) 300 mg
L-Lysine (L-lysine hydrochloride) 100 mg
Glutamine (L-glutamine hcl) 300 mg
Colostrum (bovine) 200 mg
Ornithine Alphaketoglutarate 100 mg
Glycine (L-glycine hcl) 100 mg

That is 1300 mg of amino acids plus 200 mg of colostrum.   There is not enough of anything in this product to work as an hgh releaser.  There is some minor vitamin value but that is it.

Pay Newton Everett $44.95 and get maybe $10 worth of product.

Need we say more?

Isotropin HGH-R receives an hgh supplement rating of D.

So how much of these ingredients are we looking for to make the product work? They seem to have the right things but never enough of what we need. Just wondering I guess. Would it be better just to try and get these ingredients separately and take them ourselves? Or should I just wait till you find a good one and use that?

We are eventually going to discuss the ingredients on a case by case basis. The short answer is that a product relying on the six amino acids above would need to show at least 5000 mg (5 grams) total to start being taken seriously.

So just out of curiosity on my part what HGH product do you use or recommend or are you just saying only injectable HGH?

  • 4 hgh truths // Jun 28, 2008 at 5:04 pm

Our opinion is that most people should avoid injectable hgh until they have tried about six months with a good hgh supplement.

We talk about products we have used in a number of places on the site.

what are the good hgh supplement and where can you get them?? will this help with ligament and tendon repair and muscle growth??

It is not going to hurt. How much it helps is really very age dependent.

    Hi,

Thank for this site, I have recently started taking Secretagogue, but I also bought Isotropin, before reading reviews here.

One thing I noticed is that I sleep realy lightly after I take Secretagogue. It may be body reaction to dopamine, according to the reviews. However, I have same problem on the nights I take Isotropin. It may be placebo effect, but my feeling is that Isotropin also works (in spite of low rating). Who knows….

    Alex,

Isotropin is not a total placebo. Just very weak for the price.

People have asked you to tell them what you think is a good GHR supplement, but I do not see that you have ever answered their question. You’ve told them to look it up. Why can’t you just give them a clear answer?

    Stacey,

We tell people to try any product that gets a review rating in the ‘B’ range or hopefully one day there will actually be an “A” range product.

Hi! Thanks for this info ,
I have taken H.G.H on & off for approx 2 yrs each time suffering really bad heads Which was told by the doctor It cant be these products & was dismissed I started again with puritans pride to no effect or side effects , However Have just spent £69.00 on isotropin sachets 20days worth & was told I would need 3mth But preffered this time to test first , Along with this I purchased dhea 25mg for a further £12.95 after taking for a week my headaches came back with avengeance & am having very loose stools , Both of which I put down to these products . I would like to think if I keep taking , something positive will happen . Both products are from ( Biovea) if you have any advise or more info please advise & keep up the good work if I had found your site first I doubt I would have bought any further products .

Have you ever reviewed HGR. I would like to know your opinion on this product. I am 56 and starting to get out of shape no matter how much I watch what I eat and work out. I am ready to try a HGH product. Presently am going to order Secretagouge Gold and HGH Stack but would like to know what you think about HGR. Thanks for all the good info.

    Jim,
I think that you meant to say GHR. We reviewed a number of the GHR products and they are all over priced marginal products.

You say its only 1300 mg of amino acids, what if u double or triple the dose, will that have an effect?

  • 15 hgh truths // Apr 26, 2009 at 10:49 am

    biotoxin,
The only reason to consider taking larger dosages of this product would be if it is the only product you could buy or you have already bought a pile of it and want to use it up.

The problem is not just the low amount of amino acids bot also the aminos being used and they way they are combined. I wouldn’t consider buying a stack like this but if i did I would want at least 5 times as much of the ingredients and would still only have a marginal product. That is over $200 when I could buy much better products for under $50. GHR Essentials is a 2 to 3 times better product and sells for $16. Secretagogue Gold is 4 to 5 times better product and sells for the same price.

I have been using the Isotropin Rejuvenation for 6 months with great results.

  • 17 hgh truths // May 12, 2009 at 8:12 am

    Stella,
i don’t think we bothered to review that product because of the other garbage the company sells. As i remember. it is essentially the equivalent of Secretagogue One for twice the price.

Thanks for such an informative website!! I noticed you recently experimented with GHR Essentials from Swanson. How is that going? I just started myself and am on my third day at 6 pills (final dosage will be 9 pills per the recommended dosing). I have noticed a little trouble sleeping, but I also take 200mg of CoQ10 which may effect my sleep. Have you noticed significant impact of the Swanson product? Also, I noticed that Swanson is now offering the Secretagogue Gold for half the price at the official website. Thanks again.

  • 19 hgh truths // Oct 22, 2009 at 7:08 am

    Matt,
I have found GHR Essentials to be a good base product.

The trouble sleeping could come from being energized by the dopamine increase. If it remains a problem, go for first thing in the morning.
