Here is another magic pill human growth hormone supplement product that comes highly recommended all over the internet. Many sites claim this is the best hgh product you can buy. Sometimes even rated as the number one by 97% of their readers. The ultimate hgh releasing supplement.
Faithful readers can already smell where this one is going.
The website gives some pretty good general information on the site about growth hormone. The problem is that none of it is specific to their product. All the quotes on the clinical proof page are about the research done on the injectable pharmaceuticals. They try to make it look like an endorsement of their product. Heavy emphasis is placed on Dr. Daniel Rudman’s work. Dr. Rudman passed in 1994.
Endorsement from the beyond? What courtesy of the Ghost Whisperer?
Another problem is the “immediate benefits page.” There is no such thing as immediate benefits. Even with doctor prescribed injections, the results take time. Some people notice benefits in the first month but most people take three months or more.
Now the ingredients. The list looks good.
+ GTF Chromium
+ L-Ornithine
+ L-Arginine
+ L-Lysine
+ L-Tyrosine
+ L-Glutamine
+ L-Glycine
+ Pituitary (Anterior) Pwd.
+ Colostrum
+ Phosphatidyl Choline
Some good secretagogues in this list. The problem is that the label lists this as a “Proprietary Blend”.
There are basically two reasons for having a proprietary blend.
The first is because they have something new and nifty. One can understand why a company would want to protect such a formula. This would have made sense when hgh supplements first came on the market. But the formulas have not been secret for ten years. Any decent supplement manufacturer knows what to use. Surprisingly few do.
The second reason for using “Proprietary Blend” on the label is to hide how little of the right ingredients are in it. This appears to be one of those cases.
The serving size is 4 capsules for a total of 2800 mg. Assuming this is a legal label that lists ingredients in the order of the quantity included, there is not enough of any amino acid for this hgh stack to work. There might be enough of the pituitary to do the trick but we have no way of knowing. The proper dosage of just one amino acid and the pituitary could allow this product marginally effective.
My best guess is that you would have to take 6 to 8 capsules to get full benefits. Considering it costs $49.95 per bottle, it becomes an expensive option. You can buy good complete products for that price or less.
The product comparison rating for Genf20 HGH is a D+.
“Oh! Stop me! I forgot to address all those glowing recommendations.”
Once again it is all about the affiliate program. Webmasters get a 50% commission for pushing Genf20 HGH. That makes sense. It is worth about $25 full retail. So you are over paying by at least the amount of the commission.

Thank you for posting this. I was actually considering buying a bottle to see how it was. I think my own elixer of youth will continue to be a good diet and regular training program. Thanks!

Paul,
Don’t let one bad product keep you from using a good human growth hormone supplement. We have done some good reviews.

What is the best HGH product out right now for height increases something just seems fake about growth flex v pro, i am 19 years old 5′11 aiming for 6′16′2
4 hgh truths // Mar 31, 2008 at 8:48 pm
The whole idea of any of these products helping someone grow taller is fake. It is just not going to happen. Even with injectable hgh, a 5′11″ 19 year old is not going to get taller.
Why, because you are not hormone deficient. Also you would have needed to try this 7 or 8 years ago.

Thank you, and i am not questioning your knowledge, but i have to ask why this is because the average age of height growth in men is 21, and i grew 2 inches from 17-19, and i have heard of athletes taking HGH at my university growing in height without knowledge of height increase, while they were strickly taking the supplement for performance enhancing, its possible they just had freakishly late growth spurts, but could taking secratogogue gold help emphasis a possible future growth spurt
6 hgh truths // Apr 1, 2008 at 7:01 pm
I don’t want to give anyone the idea that these supplements in anyway help with a height increase. There is no evidence in existence anywhere that shows that they do.
That being said, taking hgh supplements would not get in the way of a height increase.
I also do not believe that these supplements do much in the way of performance enhancement for college age athletes. They are not hormone deficient. They are near the peak of their natural hormone cycle. Supplements are not going to do much of anything.
Nate,
At 5″11 you are not growth hormone deficient. You might grow some more, you might not. Don’t count on the supplements helping but if it makes you feel better take them.
Even growth hormone deficient children taking large dosages of human growth hormone only get a little bit of height gain.

Is there any Hgh product that gets a rating from B+ to A+? you have this hgh truth site but no list Hgh products from best to worst, sure its good to find out that this product is a crock, but this there anything you recommend on the Hgh market?
8 hgh truths // Apr 7, 2008 at 8:43 am
So far only one product has gotten as high as a B+. That was Secretagogue Gold.
Any score of A- to A+ is going to be difficult to get. We believe in grading on a steep curve.
The initial goal of our hgh supplement reviews was to show what a crock most of the most heavily marketed hgh were.
There are a lot of sites that give a list of recommended products. Almost all of them are trying to sell you either the top product or all the products on the list.
We are not trying to sell you anything. So no list at this point. Maybe some day.

wow you have opened my eyes to a lot of scams out there ,but what product is the best ? keep it up nice to see some truth !!!!!!!
10 admin // May 21, 2008 at 4:33 pm
There really is not a “best” product. There are a number of good products. Anything we rated in the “B” range is pretty good. Still looking for an “A” product.

Just wanted to thank you for creating this website. I have spent so many hours trying to find unbiased reviews of HGH products and this is the best by a long way. There are never any guarentees but you don’t seem to be pushing specific products and certainly know your stuff so thanks for the education.
Unfortunatley I have just bought 2 bottles of GenF20 (ordered before finding this site) as yes it is the most endorsed product on the net. I will be purchasing Secretagogue Gold as soon as my supply runs out to aid my power lifting training.
In the mean time, would you recommend I take double the dosage recommended (8 pills rather than 4).
Thanks again for the great site and keep up the good work.
12 admin // May 29, 2008 at 4:56 pm
I wouldn’t hesitate to double the dosage with a caveat.
We have no idea how much anterior pituitary is in the product. Products with anterior pituitary can sometimes make men a little edgy/irritable.
It is not like full blown roid rage. Think of it like male PMS.
If you notice this condition, stop taking the product for a couple days. When you return to normal start up again with a lesser dosage.

Okay will do. That could be interesting!
Thanks.
14 Inder // Jun 16, 2008 at 2:10 am
Jesus, I cannot believe this! I just did exactly what Dominic did. I bought 2 Genf20 before I found this website.. but now I know what needs to be done…
Thanks Guys..Really appreciate the awareness you are creating with your website.
15 admin // Jun 16, 2008 at 8:37 pm
Inder,
Glad we could be of service.
16 kyle // Jun 24, 2008 at 1:25 pm
i used 6 month supply of genf20 and i was happy with the results to be honest…i used in conjunction with protien and i got more mass while losing body fat…i was already using the protein before so id say the genf20 definetely helped….might not be the best hgh releaser like you said, but i have to say i was pretty satisfied. feel free to ask any questions.
CHEERS-Kyle
17 hgh truths // Jun 24, 2008 at 8:29 pm
These are deceptive marketers who are claiming that they are selling you a brand new Caddy and charging you full sticker price. What they deliver is a used Chevy.
If you like over paying by over 100% that is Ok with us and them.

With many people looking for a fountain of youth in a capsule and the assurance of it’s exact content for it to work, along with the profit potential better known as greed, How does any one trust the market and all it’s distributers? Who can we trust ?
19 Bob // Jul 13, 2008 at 12:31 pm
I have been searching for a qualified HGH Program to improve my entire health, And to get pass all the chronic conditions i have been dianogst with. At age 61 i’m at a point of being sick and tired of being sick and tired. To read all the variuos web sites on this subject HGH Hormone Therpy and what it can do for you, It leaves one to wonder how can this be ? The real question is what are they really selling the consumer ? If you should suggest to any of these distributors selling HGH that if you where to purchase their product and then forwarded it to a independant lab for testing to see if the your getting the real deal, I bet you would get a non-responce or no reply to that suggestion. Many of these internet marketers are more of good copy and not enough on substance when selling their products. As the saying goes “Buyers Be-where” . Having said all this where does this leave me ? Don’t we deserve better ?
20 hghtruths // Jul 15, 2008 at 8:11 pm
You do deserve better. That is why we are here.
I would not say that the marketers use good copy. Most of it is not honest so it can not be good.
We are saving up some of the adsense pennies to do some product testing later this year. Past experience says that this could have very interesting results.
21 Tony // Aug 6, 2008 at 3:50 pm
This question is for Kyle, did you experience a height increase while using GenF20 and if so..by how much? thanks in advance.
Tony.
22 hgh truths // Aug 8, 2008 at 2:44 pm
Tony,
There is no hgh supplement in existence that is going to help you grow any taller.
23 Kiimmel // Sep 20, 2008 at 10:53 am
So, you say the Secretagogue Gold is the best HGH on the market? Does it help with building muscle mass? I am 6′ 2″ and weight about 183 with 5.9% body fat. I know that is probably ideal but I am still thin. I want to have bigger biceps and bigger pecs. Will the Secretagogue Gold do the job? I go to the gym everyday to every other day. Any suggestions? What else is on the market that is close to the Secretagogue Gold?
24 hgh truths // Sep 20, 2008 at 3:02 pm
Kiimmel,
We deleted the link to the phony review site.
Secretagogue Gold is not necessarily the best on the market. It simply has gotten the highest ranking of anything reviewed to date.
HGH is not really about developing muscle mass.
Working harder or smarter is the top way to get muscle mass short of steroids.
25 Kiimmel // Sep 20, 2008 at 5:04 pm
So HGH is a form of steroids? Or should I say ‘legal steroids?’ One last question (2 part
)…what is the best thing on the market that is worth the money and I am 29, should I wait a few more years?
26 hgh truths // Sep 20, 2008 at 7:02 pm
Hgh is not a steroid. It is a hormone.
I would wait.

I have an injury to my foot and takes supplements. But no matter what food or supplements I take I can’t seem to get enough tissue repair to my foots fad pad. since some of it degenerated from the injury to the front of my foot. And it also effected the back of my heal. I believe this is why I have Achilles Tendon problems. It’s really pissing me off. Do you know any HGH or any products I could take to help promote tissue growth?
28 hgh truths // Sep 29, 2008 at 5:34 am
Mark,
I really do not have a good answer for you. If your doctor does not have good advice seek out a specialist in integrative medicine. They tend to have a better handle on these type of things.
29 phillip // Oct 6, 2008 at 3:31 pm
okay, i am 17 years old and only 5′3″(very short). i would like to know if there is any hgh product that could increase my height and/or muscle mass?
30 hgh truths // Oct 7, 2008 at 11:09 am
Philip,
There is no hgh product that is going to help you grow any taller.
31 Carson // Oct 8, 2008 at 8:41 am
I know there is no A product in the market. But can we combine different products to make a good one? I don’t care the expense is somewhat higher.
32 Carson // Oct 8, 2008 at 8:54 am
I mean if we combine different products (probably with two of an individual product), then we can have a combined one with complete ingredients and each ingredient should be enough. Do you have some suggestions?
33 hgh truths // Nov 1, 2008 at 5:16 pm
Carson,
You can combine products. Just start with some thing better than Genf20.
34 Tim O // Dec 9, 2008 at 7:54 am
I am looking for a HGH product that will help with my immune system. I am 38 and have developed severe eye allergies. My alternative doctor has improved my condition with supplements aand mentioned hGH replacement therapy. Do you know of any hgh supplement that will help with my immune system?????
35 hgh truths // Dec 21, 2008 at 12:49 pm
Tim O,
Theoretically, increased hgh levels could help your condition. Try any supplement rated in the “B” range.
