The Basics on Cycling HGH Supplements

We get a lot of questions from people when we mention the cycling of hgh products.  We have given little answers in the comments on various posts but it is now time for a simple short post.

The simple, one line answer is that you get better growth hormone release in the long run if you cycle your intake of an hgh product.

The basic cycling rules are to take it for five days and then not take it for two days.  After three months of this cycle, take one month off. 

Why 5 days on and two days off?

Simple, your body starts in a state of equilibrium that it is happy with.   When you start to stimulate hgh production, your body is going to start doing to things.  Your pituitary will start producing more hgh and the hormonal system will start trying to return back to the original equilibrium by producing counter hormones such as cortical and somastatin.

When you stop stimulating the hgh release, your body thinks you have surrendered and stops it’s battle.  Then you start shocking the system again.  Over the course of the cycle you win.  The body gets used to being at a higher equilibrium level.

A good balanced hgh stack also does its own little tricks to help you out.  Chemically inhibiting the body’s ability to fight back through the production of cortisol and somastatin.

The whole idea is to have your entire biological system working at a healthier level than when you started.  So, after three months you give the endocrine system a breathier and a chance to see how it operates on its own.  Then you start up again.

One school of thought is that you do not need to take the whole fourth month off.  You only stop taking it until you can clearly notice the effect of not taking the hgh releaser.  Plus you add on two additional days but the minimum time off should be seven days.

Now you start taking your favorite hgh product again, going back to the original 5 days on and 2 days off.

The result of hgh cycling is that over time you end up well ahead of the person who takes hgh stimulants everyday.  A tortoise and the hare tale.

    Thanks! I cycle the hgh I take, but do you recommend cycling for supplements like alpha lipoic acid, acetyl l-carnitine, tyrosine, 5-htp, and taurine? Mostly I take those for mood enhancement and energy. I also take multi-vitamins, chlorella, and spirulina, do you agree they’re ok to take every day?

    I have read all of your reviews about HGH, but what specific product or products do you recommend?

    We would recommend any product that received a grade in the “B’ range until we find something that deserves an “A” range grade.

    We really want to avoid ever recommending a specific product.
